QWERTZ, the way you know it
Z and Y sit where German keyboards put them. Hold a, o, u or s for ä, ö, ü and ß.
Umlauts without the long-press

Nouns keep their capital
Typos in nouns are fixed with the capital kept, so Sommrr becomes Sommer. Words like essen and morgen stay lowercase when you mean them that way.

How do I type umlauts (ä, ö, ü) on Android?
Hold a, o or u and pick the umlaut. With Preener you can also skip it: type fur, uber or naturlich and pick für, über or natürlich from the suggestions, or let autocorrect add it.
How do I type ß on an Android keyboard?
Hold the s key and pick ß. Swiss spellings with ss are kept as they are, so Preener never forces one on you.
